The Way Inn is family-owned & operated by Ralph & Melissa Harmon, and daughters Naomi & Rachel and her new husband, Kevin Rayburn. The owners cordially invite you to The Way Inn, near Tennessee’s most-visited state park. We offer a comfortable spot to rest & refresh yourself, have a bite to eat, stock up on picnic and fishing supplies, and spend the night - all within cycling distance of the park. We are just 4 miles from the park’s south entrance on Hwy 284, as you approach from Hwy 111.
We are family-oriented and strive to maintain an atmosphere suitable for all ages; we offer the most affordable rates in this area:
Rooms start at only $59.95 + tax on non-holidays, and $69.95 + tax on holidays.
Children are welcome and stay at no additional charge (under-17).
Pets are also welcome (in designated rooms) for an additional $10 each per night. We have a large lawn available for their enjoyment, but they cannot be left unattended unless they are crated.
We have the best wireless internet on the mountain. It is free and accessible in the motel and café.
Crisp satellite TV reception is available in the rooms.
We have a “mature” red-brick single-story motel, which we are continually upgrading. What we may lack in aesthetics is more than compensated for in comfort and value. Our clean, spacious rooms are almost 16’ x 24’ and have 2 queen- or full-size beds, with room to spare. For larger families, we can add a third bed, full- or twin-size. (Did we mention how BIG our rooms are?)
A single king-size bed is also available.
